Where Paths Meet gives the deck its wheel. Upright, two itineraries fold into one at a junction neither traveller chose, and the card insists this was always the route. Reversed, you miss the connection and spend the next leg wondering about the face in the other carriage. Reader's note: fated is a heavy word. I prefer scheduled. Either way, the wheel turns whether you are watching the board or not.
