The High Priestess — The Rose Window

Reader's note

The Rose Window prints the High Priestess seated beneath stained glass that throws colour over everything she is not allowed to say. Upright, it is the secret kept well — in a chapel, in a century that would not forgive it. Reversed, the glass cracks and the light gets in unflattered. Note from the reader: this is a quiet card. The forbidden parts are in what she is holding under the book.
