Four of Cups — Stay Awhile

Reader's note

Stay Awhile prints the Four of Cups as a traveller on a porch, bag still packed, being handed a mug she did not ask for. Upright, it is the card of staying one more night, and then another. Reversed, the restlessness returns and the card asks what you are actually running from. Note by candle: the fourth cup in this story is never coffee. It is the town itself, asking.
